MS Tech Announces that it was awarded with a Bi-National India-Israel R&D Grant from the Israel Innovation Authority and the Indian Global Innovation and Technology Alliance
MS Tech’s nanotechnology sensors will be designed and customized to detect a wide range of molecules in a range of security screening and healthcare applications combined with IoT, big-data networking, and analytics.
Arlington, Virginia, MS Tech Ltd. – a global developer, manufacturer, and innovator of nanotechnology, IoT, and big-data sensors announces that it has been awarded with another prestigious R&D Project with funding from the Israel Innovation Authority (“IIA”) and the Indian Global Innovation and Technology Alliance (“GITA”).
The innovative R&D project’s vision is to take India to the next level of technology innovation with interconnected IoT and big-data sensors enabling the central monitoring and control of systems deployed across India; and to enable decision-makers to receive live reporting, analytics, and take the adequate decisions in real-time.
“MS Tech is very active in the Indian market, and we have a large installed base and deployment of sensors across the country. We have identified the need to develop innovative IoT and big-data networking solutions to enable private corporations and Indian Government Authorities to receive live and smart data from the deployed sensors ” says Doron Shalom, CEO of MS Tech.
The growth of IoT adoption in India is backed by strong connectivity and coverage, rising internet penetration, a surge in smart applications adoption, new business models, and government initiatives such as smart city projects. India offers multiple opportunities for IoT providers, and the country’s IoT ecosystem is expected to continue growing to offer entire new streams of revenues.
“The Indian IoT market is expected to reach US$9.28 billion by 2025 from US$4.98 billion in 2020, driven mostly by changes in enterprise behavior triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and verticals’ focus on sensors and IoT are driving the market.” added Doron Shalom, CEO of MS Tech
Some of the Israel-India R&D project applications target the Indian Government’s requirements in increasing the detection capabilities against synthetic opioids such as Fentanyl as well as a new and wide range of different chemicals and explosives.
Three D Integrated Solutions Limited will be responsible for developing the software architecture, deploying and networking the required hardware, and participating with MS Tech in the field deployments across various airports and other sites across India.
“This venture was initiated by the need to research, develop and integrate technologically modern solutions in the Indian Industry which will result in the introduction of cutting-edge nanotechnology sensors in India and cost saving solutions to customers,” says Nandy Bhatia, Chairman of Three D Integrated Solutions Ltd.
MS Tech’s flagship products are the EXPLOSCAN, DUOSCAN, LIQUISCAN, MULTISCAN, and the THREATSCAN:
The EXPLOSCAN, DUOSCAN, MULTISCAN and THREATSCAN are explosive and narcotics trace and vapors detectors and the LIQUISCAN is a liquid explosives detector that use the innovative High-Frequency Quartz Crystal Microbalance “HF-QCM” nanotechnology sensors developed, manufactured and patented by MS Tech Ltd. The products feature an innovative design with self-calibrating and self-cleaning capabilities, with the highest levels of sensitivity and operational availability. The HF-QCM nanotechnology sensors are non-radioactive, providing a complete green and safe working environment.
The EXPLOSCAN, DUOSCAN, LIQUISCAN, MULTISCAN and THREATSCAN, are ideal for aviation and transportation security, high-threat facilities and infrastructures, military, customs and border control, mail inspection and cargo screening markets. The systems are operational proven in a wide spectrum of temperatures and withstand even the harshest environmental conditions including, dust and humidity.
